Last year, with the new MATIC series, the Swiss company Tool-Temp AG revolutionised temperature control in the manufacturing industry. After the universal temperature control units for water or oil have already been successfully used in the market, the family business is now pleased to introduce the oil temperature control units for a maximum temperature of 360°C to the industry, featuring the new IRIS control sys-tem.
The new models, MATIC Oil 360 16 (heating capacity 16 kW) and MATIC Oil 360 24 (heating capacity 24 kW), are true powerhouses. They were specifically developed to meet the demands of high temperatures of up to 360°C and guarantee flawless pro-duction even under the toughest conditions, such as those found in die casting. These two units complement the established CLASSIC models TT-390 with 16 kW and 24 kW heating capacity. With the integrated IRIS control system, they are available as MATIC Oil 360 models, while the CLASSIC variants continue to be available with the standard MP 888 controller.
As with all MATIC temperature control units, energy efficiency and connectivity are at the forefront. Each MATIC unit is equipped with state-of-the-art inverter technology as a pump drive, which automatically saves energy in Eco mode. An intelligent and predictive temperature control avoids unnecessary heating and cooling. In short, MATIC minimizes both the energy consumption of temperature control processes and downtime.
