Advancing pump technology for temperature control

With the E2 and H2 peripheral pumps, Tool-Temp is consistently advancing pump technology for temperature control units. The new generation combines higher hydraulic performance with efficient operation, providing additional performance reserves for demanding applications in oil and water operation.

Swiss development and manufacturing

The pumps are fully developed and manufactured in Switzerland. They are installed as standard in temperature control units from the MATIC and CLASSIC Duo series.

E2 pump: More hydraulic performance with the same consumption

The optimized peripheral-wheel design enables significantly higher pressure and flow performance. The new pump generation provides additional reserves, particularly for applications with high pressure losses, complex tool circuits or long line runs.

Compared with the previous E pump, the E2 can deliver up to 53% more pressure performance in oil operation and up to 48% more flow rate in water operation.

This provides more hydraulic performance without requiring a correspondingly higher motor output.

Efficient operation

The optimized hydraulics of the E2 pump also make better use of the drive energy. Up to 16% lower electricity consumption is possible at the same operating point — and correspondingly more in speed-controlled operation. Combined with a frequency converter, energy demand can also be regulated according to requirements.

For the H2 pump, the new design has a direct effect on electricity consumption. Even without a frequency converter, around 25% electricity can be saved, while hydraulic performance remains approximately the same as with the proven H pump.

The result: more performance with lower energy demand and therefore lower operating costs.

Also suitable for existing units

The E2 and H2 peripheral pumps can also be used for retrofitting. They are mechanically 1:1 compatible with existing TT and CLASSIC temperature control units. For MATIC units, only the corresponding unit program needs to be adjusted when replacing the pump.

This means existing systems can also benefit from the improved pump technology.
