Greater efficiency through integrated timer function – Tool-Temp MATIC
The Tool-Temp MATIC temperature control units, equipped with the IRIS control system, feature a powerful integrated timer function that supports users in automating and optimising their processes.
Via the IRIS controller, time-controlled sequences can be easily defined for periods of over 7 days. The integrated timer function allows automatic start and stop times to be set. At startup, the unit can either run with the last used setpoint or with a predefined value.
Settings can be configured individually for each day of the week. Recurring processes can be saved as time-resolved recipes and retrieved at any time with full reproducibility.
Operation is intuitive via the 7-inch touchscreen directly on the unit. In addition, the interface connectivity enables seamless integration into higher-level plant or control systems, providing extra flexibility in production.
The timer function is deliberately designed as a software-based industrial time logic — not a simple countdown, but a tool for increased process reliability, consistent quality, and enhanced efficiency.
